This research aims to thoroughly examine school principals’ leadership management practices in implementing religious multiculturalism and their impact on fostering tolerance among students and teachers within educational environments. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and the PRISMA protocol, this study analyzes 15 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019 and 2025, both within the Indonesian context and globally. The findings indicate that leadership strategies based on inclusivity, such as collaborative, participative, and distributed leadership, play a pivotal role in shaping a school culture that embraces religious diversity. School principals also actively promote religious literacy, facilitate interfaith cooperation, and organize contextual tolerance education. These practices have a positive impact not only on students' behavior but also on teachers’ awareness and engagement in creating a safe and peaceful educational atmosphere. In conclusion, school leaders with a high sensitivity to diversity issues can become transformative agents in establishing an educational ecosystem that upholds pluralism and strengthens social cohesion within a multicultural society.
